Deception amongst believers

Something to look out for;

There’s currently a lot of Christians / “Prophets” making these claims;

–X is going to come back and become president
–There’s going to be a giant revival in America, with everyone turning back to God, and everything will turn into a great Christian Utopia again
–God is going to expose the evil and everything is going to turn everything around etc etc

While I’m not necessarily saying these things CAN’T happen, it’s important to point out scripturally, it doesn’t really align with what the Bible says.

And as we all know, His WORD is the foundational wisdom we ought to analyze current times with.

Especially looking at it from a macro level, things will probably get a lot worse rather than better, with the most perilous times on earth (the tribulation) yet to come.

Although a “great awakening” may or may not occur, the “falling away” is to be expected.

Though the people preaching this probably mean well,

A lot of this is really rooted in holding onto the world and its systems. There’s still this little hope that we go back to how things were in this world.

It’s over people!!

Instead, we need to let go of the old systems and not look back, for it is a wicked world we currently live in and it’s going down the poopy toilet, rather quickly.

Destruction and judgement is coming, so fix your eyes on Christ and don’t look back.

Now is the time!

2 Timothy 3

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Luke 17:26-30

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
